New members are always welcome at the Maryborough Aero Club!
Situated at the Maryborough Airport, our aero club offers members and visitors the opportunity to enjoy, not only great airport facilities, but a keen and relaxed social atmosphere. Members and travellers are invited to sit on the veranda, enjoy a cuppa, a coldie or lunch time burger, listen to a few tall stories and watch the runway action.
Maryborough Aero Club is one of the longest running clubs of this type, some of our history can be viewed in the photographs and memorabilia that decorate the walls of the club building. We currently have over 60 members, their backgrounds ranging from Recreational to Commercial pilots as well as students, social members and flying enthusiasts.
New members are always welcome, so feel free to drop by and become part of our association. Our monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, generally starting with a BBQ dinner at around 6.30-ish.
Maryborough city is situated on the Mary River, a short flight from Fraser Island, Noosa and Hervey Bay. Our city boasts many local attractions and is affectionately known as the Heritage City for its classic Queensland architecture and amazing historical past.
